Look at the upper side of the facebook homepage after you log in, then click on "Friends". After that, you'll be taken to a page with all your friends, find the friend you want to delete there and click on the "X" next to his/her name. Hope this helps.

I am assuming you wish to remove somebody you have previously accepted as a friend -

click on the friends personal icon to go to their page. Scroll to the bottom of their page - left hand bottom corner, you can suggest friends/report/block/remove friend
