WHy did my EX 'Verbally" BASH me & say such weird things? advice please?

Believe it or not... I am over him but what he said was really spiteful and completely left field.
I haven't seen him in about 4 months. We dated throughout the summer. Long story short... it didn't work. He was nobody he claimed to be and unfortunately it was all an act. (and honestly, he was not my usual type... but I thought I'd give it a chance)
Ok, so after that I'm thinking "Oh well, hopefully I'll be a better judge of character next time".

He was on a few of my online sites (twitter and etc). but I recently I removed him from everything... because I didn't see the point of the idle chit chat he would always initiate.

Anyways, in a nut shell. i heard through a friend that he was verbally bashing me. He has no idea I know this girl. But I know her through school (small world) and 2 and 2 are put together and it comes back to me. The girl and I are cool and actually have come to become great friends. This all went down in a Facebook chat lol. They go to church together.
Anyways no need to address the girl or anything I'm not concerned about that. What he said was completely disgusting. He called me horrible names. Said I was disgustingly fat. and all he could do was stare at my fat........ ? it doesn't even add up. BTW she showed me the chat. She was quite upset.
and I'm thinking What the hell. He is not by any means attractive and is pushing 300lbs at 6 foot. He is no one to talk. I work out, try my hardest to eat right. I wear a size 14. I don't see anything wrong with curvy women.
And neither did he AT the time .

I have no idea why he has so much hatred towards me.
I wish I could say it didn't bother me... but it did. He has no idea I know what he said because I do not speak to him... but I felt horrible yesterday

To think I actually gave that guy a chance. and worst yet... he claims to be so religious and everything. Ahh he is nobody who he claims to be.
I just can't get over the sick hurtful things he said.

Just puts a lot of things in my head. wish I never met the creep.

He's a loser that can't stand being dumped. Not worth the time or effort that making him cry would take. Remember it, pick better next time, and be harsher with losers.

You hurt his little feelings when you two broke up and he wants to hurt you back. That is what I think is going on.
