CHANGE SETTINGS ON FACEBOOK TIMELINE?

Even though I hate this timeline crap but I have to deal with it for now. But how do you change the settings where to only friends can send you messages? With the old facebook it was simple & now I don't see it in the settings. 10 points for best answer. Trolls & rude people will be reported & blocked asap. Thanks
V- No before I had it set to to EVERYONE can view my profile but only friends or friends can send me messages

You just set up your privacy settings in upper corner to "only my friends" and they can see what you post and post things on the timeline
