Once you put it on there you can't remove it. I'm glad I didn't do it. I read somewhere that everybody's Facebook will soon change to it.

You cannot remove your timeline once it is applied. there are methods to remove but these methods only remove timeline only when we see it in our browser and if we check our time line it will be there. that means if you apply these settings timeline of all Facebook will disable in that browser.

If you format PC and install windows again then your timeline will be back.

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update

There's no way to undo the Timeline upgrade. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.
