Is it possible to change from Army Reserves ti Active Duty while deployed?
If so, what is the process and where would i have to go? My unit is deploying in a couple months, but i want to be active duty instead of reserves.. Please no rude comments

it was easy to do ten years ago( my cousin did it)
today, not so much. as a general rule the AD component will not allow it. Ads |

Well Mariee,
When you are deployed, you will BE on active duty orders. Oh you mean, like switch from reserves to AD full time? Nope. That’s not likely to happen. You are prior service now and the opportunities pretty darn non-existent. But here are the most current 'prior service business rules'.
