How to live a different life? How to live a life that is different from the standard "american" life?
Lets face it. Majority of americans want money. They "need" money. I dont want to grow up struggling to pay bills, stressing out over bank accounts and bullsh*t car payments.
I do not have facebook, instagram, or any other useless social media that serves me no purpose. I dont have a "hi tech smart phone with unlimited texting" . I just dont like material sh*t. Im not poor, i just dont see the point of buying ipads and flat screens and cable and a expensive a** car that i cant pay for! I am not your average teen who has instagram and posts the dumbest crap. I dont care for celebrities.
Im a teenager. And i dont want to live the standard american life. I dont want to do the same thing everyday! Im an independent person. I go to independent studies (not because im stupid because i dont like public school setting) i will register as an independent voter. I only have like 2 major friends and i dont hang out with them. I spend most of my time doing homework and reading reading reading and researching and obtaining as much knowledge as i possibly can.
I dont plan on having a bank account either. I dont feel its neccesary.
I plan on working @charilie dont be so stupid. Its is possible to own a home without a bank account. I just plan on spending money on things i need. Not want and not http://www.offthegridnews.com/2013/05/07...k-account/

Going to a trade school and doing something you love is a benefit of living in the USA. Women in other countries do not have this option. Why are people from Mexico wanting to come here to work.
In south America it is much worse. With a job that pays the bills, you do not need a TV, I pad,or the other things money will buy. Get clothes at yard sales and second hand or learn to sew.
You can live a simple life with out totally changing what you want.
I did not like public school and went to be a nurse. However, I love to study history and not to crazy about having a bunch of people around me. I seen enough of them at work.

Well at least you're getting this phase of your life out of the way while you're still young.

If you don't have a bank account, you won't be able to buy or rent a house. So you'll have to live in a tent or a motel. You won't be able to get a decent job because you don't have a permanent address. No money, no electricity to charge your phone / computer, no food.

You're not poor now - but if it wasn't for your parents working hard and leading a "standard" existence to fund your lifestyle, you would be.
