Had enough of Facebook - new social network recs?
I'm sick of Facebook for many reasons, particularly privacy. Can anyone recommend a different social network? What are the good and bad points of it?

http://allthesocialnet.com/ It just had a makeover lastnight and finally a bit closer to what I had in mind.. uses the "Boonex Dolphin" php script. You get a free profile (which can be customised just like on ye olde myspace), a free blog, photo gallery, video upload (or embed from YouTube), forums, chat, classied ads, polls, audio files upload + file storage..... and instead of being run by a big bloated corporation, it's run by just the one person (moi) - so any probs are usually dealt with properly with good old fashioned yorkshire commonsense (the best sort), instead of brushed off / ignored. Or then there's Google+, which I always keep forgetting is there........ http://plus.google.com |
