Lost a really good friend..please help me?

So basically, last summer my 2 friends and I met these two guys who were really funny and cool and everyday we would go have water fights and play by the lake and stuff and it lasted like ALL SUMMER and it was the best summer I've every had but then when we got back to school, they deleted us on facebook. We were like ok theyre just kidding then they stopped speaking to us and were really mean and we were so confused cause we never did anything. So yeah they dont speak to us anymore. I dont want to leave it like this its just not right. also please keep it in mind that they have a really strict dad who doesnt like us really so he could be part the reason. I cant really just text them saying lets foret everything it would be soooo awkward and they wont speak to us in person either. TIA
