you dont "need" more likes, you just "want" more likes

ask your friends to share your posts from your page

Networking. You have to search for pages in the same genre, make comments on their page, like, hey awesome pics, cool page, etc, I try to find something specific that I can honestly comment on, it sounds more sincere and you are more likely to have a positive response. Leave a pic with your comment and link back to your page inviting them to come check your stuff out. You are addressing your comment to the page owner, but any facebook user who lands on that page and reads the comments will read your comment, and click on your picture.

You wont get nicked for promoting or spamming if you keep everything topic related and make sincere comments about the page you are on. People getting blocked for spamming are the ones who are just randomly injecting themselves into other people's conversation or completely unrelated pages to post some mlm scam.

For example, i have had other users use my comments to network. I know what they are doing, for the most part let it happen. I mean, its how I get likes too. But the comment about working from home processing emails? I marked that as spam faster than you can say spam.

Its good for numbers only, not active users, but like exchange sites will boost the number fairly quickly. socialmediaexplode is an example.

There are some like exchange facebook pages that seemed to delivery more active users. https://www.facebook.com/HikesTL for example. Its really more of a cross between networking and like exchange, which is why it does deliver active users. but, its time consuming and you end up with a lot of comments on your page that could look spammy to other users, and often inadvertently advertising the page as the like exchange page is supposed to get tagged in any post/initial contact you make through them.

But tis the rule of thumb of all business - if you dont have a budget for advertising, you dont have a business. Though, I just looked at your page, and kind of agree that you dont NEED, you want. You arent selling anything, just making posts and looking for a popularity jump. Part of that is going to be creating content that other people are interested in, rather than posting what YOU want to look at.

You also need to have a clear topic. I have no idea what yours is. The title suggested it was going to be a page naked women, but really saw a bunch of naked men. Then there is some talk about book whores? As in characters that are whores or people who like to read a lot of books?

hey abraxus, for someone who has their own facebook help page, why do you seem to post the most incorrect or unhelpful information?
If their friends were going to like and share the page, the probably would have already done so. People on facebook HATE getting requests from pages and games, even when its their friends sending it. When I started my page I sent everyone on my list an invite, and left it at that. Some liked my page, some didnt. But because I DO know them in real life, I am not going to hound them over it. They either will or wont, there is no obligation there and I dont want to make them feel like there is one.
I think its ok to send your friends an invite once to the page, but I do NOT think its ok to pester your friends to like your page and share your posts. Its not their responsibility, and if they arent already, they probably arent interested in your content. So, I find it a let down that that was the only suggestion the person above had.
