I have to write a paper on the effects of social media, but my mind is blank. I'm stuck on stupid and I have no idea what to write about. I was thinking of writing about facebook and its effects on people young and old but idk how to start or what to say. (it has to be 4 pgs long) any ideas?

Yes, write about facebook and its effect on old vs young people. You could take that even more general and also compare the use of other social sites like blogs and twitters. Start with indicating that you're going to write about the use of social websites by old vs young people and work that out further.
