facebook emailing help!?!?

i just want facebook to stop emailing me everytime i get a notification. if i go to account settings ---> notifications ----> and then uncheck every single box does that stop the emails or does that stop facebook actually showing me i have a notification?? (like in the top left corner will those still show up?)

so what im saying is......how do i keep it so the notifications DO pop up on the facebook page in the top left corner but stop the emails coming?

open your email and click on one of the facebook messages, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click unsubscribe, i think that will work

go to account settings and off the notification.

- Log in to facebook
- Click Account Settings
- Notifications
- Un-Check all Boxes
- Click Save Changes

By Doing this, Facebook will not send any email if any of those actions happened. However you will get notifications into the Facebook notification area which is in the left upper side.
