Is this true bout facebook?

Someone told me they r gonna start charging for face book... it doesnt seem true:/

If they did there are other FREE networking sites, but I doubt its true, if they were to make you pay for something, it would probably be for games or something else, not to use a site.

It is not true, facebook is and will always be free.

Like many web 2.0 sites facebook's revenue comes for advertisements and market data so it would have no reason to ever conciser charging its users for the service.

I have heard rumors that they may starting charging on a monthly basis starting this summer but I'm not sure how much truth there is to that.

Is not true, they have to keep it free in order to get to the masses internationally, and make money through their pay per click advertising programs.
