How to make green eyes brighter?
So, my eyes are green, but a dark green. I heard that green eyes are rarer than, say, blue or brown. So I was looking for a way to make them brighter and stand out? This a photo so you know what you're dealing with:https://twitter.com/IWantHoranHugs9/status/420174291943313408/photo/1
Thanks in advance x

There's nothing you can do to change your eyes without using contact lenses except learn what makeup works best to make them stand out.

Green eyes are beautiful... they alone stand out in the crowd...
but if you want to enhance them, makeup would be the best way to do so...

I have green eyes too! ^.^ I find that purple brings them out and makes them stand out more. I don't usually put purple all over my eye, but I like to use a purple eyeliner under my lower lashes and that helps. It's not too in your face, but it naturally helps bring out the green in my eyes. I find that warmer toned eyeshadows can help as well. Things with a little bit of red in them.
Hope this was helpful! xx

Shape your eyebrows, like get them professionally waxed so they look really nice, then people will be looking at that area of your face more, and wear liquid eye liner on the lids of your eyes, it's really easy to use and it literally takes seconds to do

you can use eyeliner to line your waterline, and maybe a thin line on your eyelids? than curl your eyelashes, and apply a good brand of mascara, not too chunky, but enough to make them pop, xx

Cosmetic Solutions
1. Wear contacts.[1] Contacts are the most effective way to lighten your eye color. For that matter, they are also one of the safest options you can rely on. Talk to your eye doctor about the possibility of getting prescription contacts that can lighten the color of your eyesSoft, opaque contact lenses come in a variety of shades and colors and are produced by a range of manufacturers. You can choose different, lighter hue from the options available, or you can simply look for a lighter shade of your own eye color.
Note that a prescription is required before you can purchase contact lenses in the United States, even if those contacts are cosmetic rather than corrective. This is a requirement set down by the FDA.Get a prescription for contacts from your eye doctor. If you have perfect vision, you will still need a prescription from your eye doctor. The lenses you get will be known as "plano" lenses, or lenses that are not curved for the purpose of correcting vision.
2. Apply complementary eye shadow. As a general rule, when trying to make your eyes seem lighter or brighter, you should apply darker matte shades of eye shadow. Light or glittery eye shadow can actually make your eyes seem darker. Additionally, there are certain color schemes that draw out the color of your eyes more effectively, and as the color becomes more visible, it may also appear lighter.
The strongest results will be produced when you wear an eye shadow that is a complementary color to your eye color. You can also choose split complementary colors and triadic colors.Complementary colors appear on the opposite side of the color wheel.
Split complementary colors include secondary colors directly next to the color of your eye and the color directly opposite the shade in between your eye color and corresponding secondary color.
Triadic colors include colors that form an equilateral triangle when angled against each other on the color wheel. When considering eye color, interpret orange on the color wheel as brown and red as pink. For blue eyes, apply dark shades of brown. You can also apply deep violets and yellow-greens.
For green eyes, apply dark rose pink. You can also try burnt orange or brown, dark matte gold, or deep blue. For brown eyes, apply dark blue shadows for the best results. You can also consider deep pinks, deep golds, or deep violets.
3. Match your clothes to your eye color. Choose a top in a hue that is similar to your eye color. By doing so, you bring out the natural color of your eye, making it look brighter and more vibrant. An eye color that is more vibrant will also appear lighter than one that is masked deep within your eye sockets.Play around with shades to determine which shade works best for your eye color. Typically, a lighter shade will be better because it will draw out the lighter pigments of your eye. Nonetheless, you can experiment with shades to determine which bring out your lightest natural color.

Natural Remedies
1. Try herbal eye drops. Herbal and supplemental eye drops are applied directly to the eye. They rarely produce an immediate effect, but over time, some of these eye drops can lighten the color of your eye by a shade or two.
a.Look for eye drops labeled as "brighteners" or "lighteners." Some of these eye drops may be marketed to people suffering from eye conditions such as cataracts or retinopathy.
b.Check the label of the eye drops for specific instructions on how to use them. There may be a limit on how often you can use the drops safely.
c.Some herbs commonly found in these eye drops include cayenne pepper, bayberry bark, goldenseal root, and red raspberry leaf, among others. These drops usually contain minerals like calcium cobalt, magnesium, manganese, and zinc.
d.Note that herbal eye drops are not usually approved by the FDA.
e.Some eye drops can cause irritation to your eyes when applied.
f.Look for an herbal eye drop that has received good reviews among consumers since many herbal eye lighteners are scams.
2. Go on a raw diet.[3] Some studies suggest that raw diets aimed to cleanse the body can also brighten or lighten your eye color. Theoretically, these diets flush toxins out of your system, and these toxins can be responsible for causing your eye color to be clouded or darker than it should be.
a.On a raw food diet, you will eat no cooked foods. Meat is prohibited, but some diet plans do allow you to eat raw eggs and cheese made from raw milk.[4]
b.You can blend and dehydrate your food while on a raw food diet.
c.The diet consists of 75 percent fruits and vegetables.
d.Staples of the raw diet include seaweed, sprouts, sprouted seeds, whole grains, beans, dried fruits, and nuts.
e.Talk to a doctor or nutritionist before putting yourself on a raw diet so that you can learn about the best ways to maintain balanced nutrition while on the diet.
3. Check into hypnosis.[5] While there is no scientific evidence to support the claim, a common belief is that hypnosis can be used to lighten eye color. Consult with a certified hypnotherapist about the possibility.
a.Find a hypnotherapist certified by the National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. If a hypnotherapist is not certified, he or she may not be legitimate or may not use ethical practices.
b.The body is often capable of changing the shade of your eye color, so hypnotherapy is used as a means of triggering your body's natural ability. If the hypnotherapist can convince your mind to instruct the stroma of your eye to produce fewer pigment granules, your eyes should lighten a few shades.Medical Options
1. Have a colored lens surgically implanted.[6] Some cosmetic surgeons in select countries perform a surgical procedure in which they insert a colored lens just below the outer surface of the eye. This lens can lighten the natural color of your eye or change your eye color altogether.
a.This procedure is not FDA approved and not currently available in the United States. In fact, the only clinic known to perform it is located in Panama City, Panama.
b.The long-term effects remain unknown, but the procedure is reversible.
2. Get a specialized form of laser surgery.[7] Doctors have recently begun exploring a type of laser surgery that can change eyes from dark brown to light blue. The procedure only takes about one minute, but the changewill occur over a period of two to three weeks.
a.Note that, as of 2013, the surgery has not been FDA approved.
b.The procedure is permanent. The lasers destroy brown pigments in the iris, causing the eyes to lighten and turn blue.
c.As studies advance, the surgery may also be able to change green eyes or dark blue eyes to a light blue.
