Twitter ppl.... help please?

how do u send ppl direct messages on twitter. Its so annoying. and i dont get it, how do u get ppl to follow u when they cant see what they're sayin to you.

You put @ and then her twitter user name
On the side of your page it'll say @ then your user name if you click here then it'll say the messages people directed at you.
Demi Lavoto and all other twitter users have the same thing.
so in your 'what are you doing' section type @demilavoto or w.e. her user name is, then type what you want to say. When she clicks on the @demilavoto section on the side, she will see it. If she replies by saying @(your twitter name) it will be in the @(your twitter name) on the side of your page.

if you Click on their pic on the right hand side off the pic there sre two symbols one off which when you click allows u to direct message them only ppl that are following u can see what u are saying ... go to mr tweet in the find ppl box he will give you a list off ppl to follow

You can send an @ reply to anyone on twitter - whether they're following you or not. To do this either click the 'reply' symbol next to an update of theis, or just type @<username>. They will see it, but if you go on their page you won't see your message; on others pages only their updates are visible to you. To send a private message - DM (direct message) they must be following you, you can send @ replies to anyone, DM's only to those following you.

Once you have signed up for twitter you will see a series of links on the right hand side of your home page (twitter.com/screename.) One of them will say "Direct Messages" by clicking on that link you will be able to send and/or receive direct messages from people. It is important to note that before direct messages can be sent to someone they must be following you, as well as you must be following them. Unfortunately Demi Lavato can't see what you are saying to her because she is not following your updates on witter. What you could do is send her an @reply. Simply type @demilavato in front of any message you might want her to see "@demilavato please follow my updates, I am a huge fan!!" or something to that affect might get her attention. As a generl rule for trying to increase your number of followers, try and offer something to the people that are following you already. Don't just update with mindless jabber, ("eating breakfast", "going to the mall") things like that. Try and post something that may get noticed or start a conversation like perhaps your opinion on some current event or news in an area you are interested in. This may get the people following you to interact with you and it may draw in new followers. I know that was a lot of info but I hope you can use it to help you.
