FACEBOOK AND GOOGLE WERE BOTH HACKED AT THE SAME TIME!!! GOOGLE CAME BACK UP IN 5 MINUTES. FACEBOOK STILL DOWN. HACKER GROUP ANONYMOUS IS LIKELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/technolo...ebook.html

They're doing maintenance on the chat, changing it back to how it was a couple weeks ago.

I also have the same problem right now. it might be an error from facebook or a bug. hopefully they get it fixed as soon as possible.
