Can I get in trouble if my friend does drugs? **URGENT**?
I'm gonna give the full story here because I'm quite scared.

So there's a friend of mine who we will call Abby. Just for reference, I'm 14, she is 15. (Not the real name) Abby and I met on Facebook a few months ago, and I found out we live in the came town, but we've never met. We have only talked in our little facebook group chat or occasionally texted. But just yesterday I found out that she does marijuana, to quote her, 'fairly often'. This came as a HUGE shock to me because I thought she was a pretty good and innocent person. I don't really want to associate with her, because I am against drugs and she has done some other things that I don't agree with, but aren't illegal. Her parents know that she has done drugs and so do the law, I believe, (I'm not sure) but she isn't supposed to be doing them anymore. My question is, if she gets caught, could I be anything to do with it? Like because I knew and didn't say anything? If this matters, I'm what most people consider "a good kid". I get good grades, I have never done drugs, had alcohol, or done anything illegal and have no interest in doing so. I'm just very scared about what could happen with this...please answer?
Thank you for your answers, I've calmed down a bit and I feel better...I think I will just stay away from her as you said, maybe just take a break from the internet in general.

Btw, yes I do have several internet friends who I don't know much about, I am really not internet safe. It doesn't seem dangerous to me since never give out my address...but anyway, thanks!

Be very careful. If you hang around "Abby", people will associate you as a pothead just because she is a pothead. Try to avoid her, and if you can anonymously turn her in, I would.

Whatever you do, don't do drugs. I sound like a 6th grade teacher, but honestly, messing with drugs and alcohol can fuck up your life way more than you can imagine. Just be careful around Abby.

You seem smart but you are dumb enough to makes friends with random people on the internet? You dont really know anything about this person, So you should just stay away form her. Also you are in no way responsible for her actions. Shes not out committing such a crime that the authorities need to be called just if anything stay away from her.

I don't think so, unless theres like a investigation going on, but still they wouldn't send you to jail, or charge you. Unless your selling drugs to her, or she's selling drugs to you. But if there is no proof (I don't know why there should be any) You should be okay. Besides if there is a problem, tell them to take you a drug test, and when you pass it. Don't even creep out. Shes responsible for her acts unless your in it too. But as I read I don't see how you could be involved in it.
I don't smoke, but yet am not agents it. If someone wants to ruin their life they can go for it. Also It seems you learned a new lesson. Don't meet people online, it don't matter how innocent they look!
For example: If your at a party where there is underage drinking, but your not drinking, and the cops show up, if you can pass the alcohol test they wont even ask for your name. I mean having friends that smoke isn't illegal but whats illegal is smoking. Or partying isn't illegal, whats Illegal is underage drinking.
