Facebook notification question?

Okay so I have the facebook app on my iPhone and I love it. Well, it has its imperfections, but I'm not too picky. But anyways, I just got an iPad, and of course I put the facebook app on that as well. But my current problem, is that whenever I get a notification, it appears on the iPad...when I want to get my notifications on my phone...is there any way I can solve this problem without deleting the app from my phone and then putting it back on? Because I really don't want to do that if I don't have to. Thanks.
I am logged on to my same (and only) account on both my iPhone and iPad...
And I'm not talking about facebook texts! Just like the notifications it sends you when someone comments on a post or something. Not emails either! Cuz I get those as texts...my email is forwarded to my phone.

Well you can only have one facebook account logged in at a time

Go to your iphone/ipad setting
There will be a facebook tab there and you can change facebook specific settings that way
