Relationship status on facebook?

Okay so my boyfriend and i decided to make our relationship "facebook official." it's stupid but we both put ourselves listed as in a relationship, and he keeps trying to request me, and it won't let him search for me when he types in my name. or anyone's for that matter. it's really frustrating, we've both been "In a relationship"...blank for 2 days. anyone know what the problem is? thank youu

if you go to your homepage and on your right side right above all of the ads on facebook and sort of by your "pokes" it should say relationship request click on it and accept it hopefully u will find it good luck
