Why do people use "Facebook" to contact each other?
I just don't get it. In my opinion, Facebook is a waste of time. I don't see any reason to use Facebook when we already have mobile phones. I don't see any reason to use Facebook just to say hello to someone. In my opinion, that is what mobile phones are for, live conversation is better if you know each other in person, email or phone if you have relatives or friends who live away from you. In my honest opinion, I wish Facebook did not exist. As far as I'm concerned, it does not exist, I try hard not to think about it.

It doesn't end here, this is not the only reason why I do not use Facebook, I don't like the lack of privacy, I want to remain stealthy, so I don't use it. I don't like how some people believe they have over 500 "friends". I'll bet most of these "friends" are people they don't even like.

Ugh, I think you get the picture now, I don't like Facebook and I think there's better ways to contact people. What do you think? Do you agree with me?
Yes, to each their own... I still wish it didn't exist.

I thought that I was the only one who thought like that,I clearly am not.

I really do not have any use for facebook at all and see it as a source of free information for which facebook does not pay a cent !

Wow, you too? I barely use FB ... I think it's pretty boring and pointless... I like talking to people (I text a lot too). But I'm pretty social and like to hear the other persons voice, or talk face to face... Wink

It's one of the very few ways to stalk people while keeping contact with normal conversations without appearing creepy...at least that's what I think of social media altogether.

well those people are sad pretending they have over 500 friends I have under 100 less then everyone else I just use fb for sharing pics and being nosey. I think it depends how you use it but its much better to see and speak face to face. I think the younger generation use it a lot as they have less freedom to socialise and its cheap entertainment for them I think that it can create a personality disorder in some as they constantly putting up selfies this is really weird and attention seeking. Plus some children they lie say they are over 18 to get a account and I think this is a risk as they may be groomed by a sexual predator. Think FB should make it harder to have a account.
