how to delete old timeline data on facebook?

how do i get rid of stuff from like 2008? can you do it all in one go?

The only thing I could do with my own stuff was to page down and do every item one by one or 'hide from timeline' when it let me choose that option. And I post ALOT!! It took me 2 evenings to clear it all but now I can manage it. Some times FB groups it all together for 2008 2009 2010 2011 and you have to click on the year to keep going. Sorry but I haven't found an easier way!!! They do mention that we have to do it this way when they introduced it.

Just click on 2008 on your timeline, and unfortunately you can't do it all in one go. You have to click on the little x in the top right corner of the post you want to delete, and select remove from Timeline, or delete , I can't remember what it says exactly.
