You might not know this, but Tom and I are assassins who were hired to kill you. You should probably avoid Myspace unless you're strapped.

Myspace - I like the aps and the games you can play but the interface and customizing your page is a bit harder than Yahoo. Its also a bit more complicated, why do I have to go to my page and then click on a seperate page to get to the actual page? I like the page everyone sees being the default and then going to the customizing stuff if I decide to.

Facebook - Never used it. Might try it some century when I have time.

Classmates - it harasses me too much with its ads and fake invites. no thank you.

Multiply - Not bad, but even more complicated than myspace.

Livejournal - It was my first and its where my local friends are. Its rather easy and allows you to have an animated picture for your avatar. And when you blog on it you can use rich text or the livejournal script to post (or even a cell phone voice post if you prefer).
This is by far better than Yahoo but it is limited. It is blog only without the other fun (like Answers).

As a total package, I think Yahoo is about the best despite how irritating and buggy it is.

Myspace is too commercial, facebook is bland, classmates was created, solely for the purpose of advertisement fodder, and Yahoo is the lesser of all evils.
