Facebook friend request question?

I added someone as a friend on facebook. Now it shows "add a friend," on the page. But on the friend's page, it still says "Friend request pending," So I think the person denied the request, but my friends page still says its waiting. Is this a glitch?

it wouldnt say pending if they dont want you.. its that they have not accepted you, so its still pending, facebook has lots of glitches, one day they will get them sorted.

check your friends list or email the person to let them know you have added them.
