How can I maintain relation with my friends?

I make good friends but I don't know how to keep that friendship for long time. Most of the time I make friends but after sometime I get far away from them. Please tell me how can I keep my friendship alive for long time.

Just keep up communication. Even if you're in different parts of the world, there are tons of social media outlets to stay in touch. Also, make an effort to see them too! Hang outs and fond memories build bonds that help sustain a friendship.
