Treatment and recovery rate for brain damage?
I have all symptoms of brain damage and more, including night blindness. Im getting an appointment with a neurologist soon but I was just wondering what normal treatment would be and what the chances and rate of me fully recovering or getting my sight back is? I have heard that its possible and considering my young age and modern science I was hoping that it is. Also I've heard there's a drug that helps the brain create new neurons. I'm just curious how they would restore something like bad memory impairment and short term memory loss. Give me a good answer. Thanks

As a person who worked for a year in an inpatient rehab hospital with post head injured... There is a lot that can be done... With treatment from a neurologist, physiatrist ( rehab Dr), occupational therapists who teach compensatory strategies, psychologists, social workers.

Get a good smart eye Dr on your team- take 3000 mg of fish pil( which I was told to help prevent glaucoma)

Plus meditation good diet and supplements and consult with a holistic practitioner is helpful. Plus there are new meds on the market.

Don't forget to get out and do recreational or hobbies that are fun. Plain ol fun.

Oh and exercise helps get oxygen to the brainSmile

Good luck
