Did he block me on Instagram?

So the other day I found one of my good friends on Instagram he posted a couple of pics and I was able to see them but I didn't know for sure if I wanted to follow. We'll today I was gonna follow him but I went on his profile and it said 0 post and all his pics were gone but I can still see who's following him and who he's following but no post. did he block me? Or just deleted his pictures?

If you can see his followers/following then he didn't block you. It means he just deleted the pictures.
