Does your family know about your celebrity crushes?

Does your family know about your celebrity crushes?
I was just wondering because I have the biggest crush on George Shelley (from Union J), and I know my sister knows about it cause she stalk my Twitter (I have a Union J fan account) and I always tweet picturs of George saying how much I love him and stuff. My mum knows I like Union J but she doens't know who I like most or that I fancy them.
So yeah, I was just wondering do you family know about your celebrity crushes? Do you talk about them with your family? If you don't know would you be embarrassed if they found out?

I'm not really one for crushing on celebrities.

Now book and movie characters, on the other hand... *swoon* None of my family members really know about my "crushes."

One time I was drawing Chris Hemsworth and it was taking me a few days to complete so I had the picture I was drawing from open still on my tablet so I could come back to it later. Anyway, one day my sister came in my room and I was chillin in the dark on my tablet. I was trying to hide the tab but accidentally clicked it open....

So it looked like I was sitting in the dark looking at Chris Hemsworth.... So I am pretty sure she thinks I like him...

It can be a little embarrassing, yeah, but only because your parents will probably think it's "adorable" while, for you, it's a major emotional event. Otoh, it's a normal part of growing up and they might just indulge a request to go to a concert or buy a magazine or CD or something and that can be good. I used to do this silly thing when I was a teen with crushes. I would say I was crushing on a few different people even though I was only really crushing on one. Somehow, blending my "real" crush in with a few "fake" crushes made me feel like my mom wouldn't think I was obsessing or something because it seemed like I liked alot of different people (music, tv, movies, etc). It became a general thing, not a specific fanatical thing and that was easier to share. Make any sense?

Yeah they do. I just absolutely adore Chris Hemsworth and whenever there is news on him I relay it to my whole family. When I am upset I watch Thor (b/c of Chris Hemsworth) so if I'm ever being grumpy they tell me to go watch Thor/ the Avengers haha. I also got a Chris Hemsworth pillowcase for Christmas so yeah.

Also, I like Niall from One Direction (don't judge) and I like to show my family their videos haha so yeah, they know about my celeb crushes!

Absolutely not; I wouldn't be embarrassed, but it's not something I ever brought up with them because we aren't really *that* close. Friends, fine, though I can only really list two I have as trustworthy enough to share the whole lot with. I'm still expecting for some reason to meet half these people, and I'd rather be nonchalant and casual and don't want anything I say to come back and bite me in the a*se.

That being said, I realize how silly and stifled I sound, and I'm going to try and prove myself wrong by clearing the air now: Simon Pegg is adorable. I've just finished watching Hot Fuzz, Star Trek, and MI: Ghost Protocol this week, plus all the behind-the-scenes stuff on the DVD's, and he's just the coolest guy.

I try not to tell them because they'll just remind me of it in 5 years, haha. Besides, mine aren't on guys from teen-based bands, so it would be awkward since most of them are a lot older than me. XD

Yes. I fan girl over Enrique Iglesias and everyone knows it, including my family. They usually make fun of me for it, especially my mom. Considering Enrique is twice my age.
