How can I get this ruffle effect (crochet)?
I don't want to buy this pattern because the only thing I really want it for is the ruffles on the skirt.
I'm pretty sure you can get that effect by increasing over and over but I'm not sure so help? http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/crochetin...map=%5B%5D Ads |

That's an adorable pattern! I don't know myself how to crochet ruffles yet, but you've inspired me to look at them! I found a couple of patterns that you can look through and try to learn how to ruffle. Then, you can add them to anything you want!
From the pattern, it looks like you basically do a {dc, ch-1] 3 times in each stitch of previous round. That adds thickness in each stitch and creates the ruffle affect. Take a look at the pattern from fave crafts and see if it can teach you how to do it on the dog pattern! Ads |
