Is my friend clingy? if so how can i stop it?

Well i think my friend might exhibiting "clingy friend" syndrome but im not sure. They always
-Talk to me first
-friends think we are together as a couple because of how he acts and talks to me and we are not.
-Calls me baby
-Leaves me loads of messages if my facebook says im online and im actually not there
-Will accuse me of ignoring him

I dont know how to stop it if he is because we are in the same group of friends. and dont want to cause a disturbance in our friends

ya i think you friend is a little clingy. maybe he just feels closer to you or feels that you are his only real friend. try and talk to him to see why he favors you more. He might also like you as more than a friend

Yup he's definitely clingy. You need to set your boundaries. It's obvious he likes you. Next time he leaves you messages ask him to stop and that he's getting clingy and it needs to stop. Hope this helps a little! (:
