What kind of sister is this?

I'm not a twitter person. My older sister has one. I just checked out her twitter page and constantly she talks about me and only in an insulting manner. Saying I wanted to be the attention of everything, am ignorant of such and such, have said a "few gems". So am I never allowed to speak? She'll just "tweet" what I say to her friends? What's with the lack of privacy and the complete rudeness about me? What's her problem? My parents are completely unaware of this and her lies being told about me.

What would you do in such a situation? Revenge? Show your friends your sister's mean comments about you and have them write on her page about how stupid she's being? What?
Ignoring her won't stop her from making me sound like a horrible person to her friends. This negative obsession with me has got to stop.

Um. I haven't even done anything. And she's almost 26. I thought she was better than this childish behavior.

I think you can not revenge her, anyway she is your sister. You can learn to be patient, or you can ignore her.

I have some bad news for you: your sister is going to keep on being your sister for the rest of your life. You can dump friends who behave badly, but you're stuck with family members.

So don't do anything that will escalate the conflict. Best thing is to confront her, and tell her how upset you are by what she's doing. She may not even be aware how hurtful her actions are.

And be patient with her. Like I said, you're in this for the long haul...

Back in the day before twitter and such sisters would talk face to face with their friends about how awful their sister is. So technology has changed but mankind has not. She is just doing what sisters have been doing for centuries, just in a knew for mat. You how ever got an up close slap in the face by what is a natural occurrence. Back in the day it would have been called eavesdropping. If you don't think you will like what you find then don't go looking for it and you will be much better off. Do you think she never gets upset at you. Do you never get upset at her. We all need to vent our feelings and as years go by we vent less and in a less dramatic way. Hold your tongue, be true to yourself, and let her hang herself with her own lies because that is what lies do.
