Facebook phone symbol even through she says she was offline.?

Look i have msg her on Facebook. and the person is not in my friend list and whenever i go on her profile it shows a phone symbol. while i msg her on facebook it shows a phone symbol and its written mobile after that symbol. while the person says she has not online then why was the phone symbol there.

There can be two possibilities. Either she's lying to you or maybe just that she kept Facebook logged on and went away. It happens with a lot of people, they leave their Facebook on forever, and it always shows them online.
