God this thing is horrible. I hate it. I hate timeline so much. SO MUCH. I want my old profile back. Should i delete my profile and just restart so I get my old profile back?

that would be wasted effort since your new profile would eventually be automatically converted to the timeline format too

everyone's profile will soon

It will be of no use, since in a couple of days or so, all Facebook accounts would be shifted to Timeline feature. Moreover, Timeline cannot be deleted by deactivating the account. Even if you take the trouble of completely deleting Facebook account and then opening a new account, making new friends, etc., this effort will go waste since Timeline would get introduced in that new account also after some days when all Facebook accounts will be shifted to Timeline. Please note that Timeline cannot be deleted from your Facebook account. See, for details:

How to delete or remove Facebook Timeline? [http://www.tekgazet.com/how-to-delete-or-remove-facebook-timeline/net/1772.html]

However, you can try to make best use of it, by controlling its behavior as per your needs. See:

Facebook Timeline - Control who sees when you share something [http://www.tekgazet.com/facebook-timeline-control-who-sees-when-you-share/gen/1801.html]

I read a couple news sites that said everybody's will be converted over sometime in January. Their not specifying a specific date because this way they can prevent mass hysteria. They'll just throw it all on everybody all at once someday..so that everybody's stuck with it.

Who knows, maybe on New Years Day ?

So yeah, don't bother restarting Facebook. The next day it could be automatically converted back over to stupid Timeline that nobody likes.
