He likes me and has my number but won't text?

His friend gave him my number, even though he probably doesn't know I know. It obvious he likes me, and he's also been telling a few people he does. We won't see each other for 2-3 weeks and we don't use facebook or skype etc. He said I was gorgeous and was stalking my school profile the other day haha
He hasn't text me yet and I don't have his number, but his friend was sure he would. He could be busy doing work or something, I'm just wondering. Unless he doesn't want to seem creepy or annoying, but how would we communicate then?

Don't chase him or bother too much. Let him pursue you and in the mean time chill out and make your self happy. Do things which you like, accomplish goals, do hobbies and have fun. A guy should be a side order and you should be the main dish. If he really likes you let him prove it by messaging you first and passing the first test hurdle.... Be patient if it happens it happens and just enjoy it. Trust me don't
Be too fussed with him just give it time. If it never happens don't hesitate, or worry to much.
