Need help with Facebook question!?

For some reason, when I went to click on my friends facebook page its not displaying that I have 4 mutual friends with her. It is only showing 3 mutual friends, when I know for a fact that I have 4 with her. That fourth person happens to be one of my best friends and when I click on her page, it is showing that I have 99 mutual friends with her and the initial girl that I mentioned above does not show up on her list either.

I had thought that maybe it was a setting change that either one of them did so I decided to click on another random mutual friend with the girl that I have 99 mutual friends with and she is showing up on their mutual friends list. Then I went onto the initial girls page and clicked on one of the 3 mutual friends that I have with her and saw that she is showing up on their mutual friends list too!

Can someone tell me why or what setting has been put on by either one of these girls? Sorry if I confused you, I tried to be clear as possible.

I would guess that they are either not friends anymore or it's a glitch with facebook. I don't really think it's anything to worry over. With all the changes fb has been making it has been causing weird problems like this for a while and it is probably just now getting to you.
