Best way to promote Facebook page without adverts?

I have just started a Facebook page for my business, and want to get it out to people who aren't my friends and family. I don't have the money to buy Facebook adverts at the moment so can does anyone know of other ways to get a page noticed?

First of all add different kinds of people across the world or globe. Put something interesting on your Facebook profile. For example put up a really really funny picture on your cover photo, an ads that has humor or something.

The best way to get people to your page with spending money is @tagging. When you @ tag somebody else's fanpage your comment will show up on that companies page under "what other people have posted".

I would begin looking for fan pages that are not in direct competition, more a complimentary service or product and compliment their page. For instance if you sold hats but wanted to get in front of people that would be interested in buying hats you may @tag a shoe sellers page that has many fans and say. "here at ( your company name) we love the new shoes collection ffrom @(other companies name). This will then get your facebook page in front of potentially thousands more eyeballs!
