facebook notifications on messageboards?

i am a member of a few groups on messageboards however one group i joined is good but i replied to a topic on a forum and about 60 others have since replied and they are all just having their own conversations really im no longer interested in the topic and am sick of getting notifications every five minutes! however dont want to leave the group how can i stop getting notifications to certain groups ive joined on facebook. ive even gone onto the board and deleted my original comment that i put and still no luck!

You have to go into your settings. You can stop all notifications from any given app or group.
