Turn off Facebook chat?

Turn off Facebook chat?
If somebody turned off facebook chat on computer, and they are shown as offline, but if they are using phone app facebook messenger, they will be shown active on messenger. Am i right?

Yes, you are right, if someone using phone app facebook messenger their facebook chat gets turn on.
