Can someone explain twitter to me?
I have and have 22 followers after having it for two days....I don't get it? What's a retweet? What does it mean to favorite a tweet? What do hashtags do? How do I get more followers? Thanks if you can explain this to me.

Twitter:
~Is an online social network, that allows you to create statuses & follow others.

Tweet/Re-Tweet/Favorite:
~A Tweet is a status that you write, that is then seen by your followers. It is only 140 characters {which are letters, numbers, $ymbols, and spaces} in length.
~Re-Tweeting is when someone else has made a Tweet and you want to share that Tweet with the people that follow you.
~Favoriting a Tweet is when you really like a tweet and want to show the person who Tweeted it, that you enjoyed their Tweet.

Hashtags:
~Hashtags are created by using the # symbol followed by any amount of un-spaced words. Hashtags put your Tweet into a group containing all other peoples Tweets on Twitter with that same Hastag. ( ex. If you Tweet: "I am so happy #WonderfulDay" , {when you click on that hashtag, a grouping of all other Tweets that contain #WonderfulDay will be displayed}

Followers/Following:
~Following someone on Twitter means that whenever they make a Tweet(see above) it shows up on your Home.
~Followers are people who follow you; it means that they will receive whatever you Tweet.
~~To get more followers, Tweet funny/relateable things, follow others {and hope they follow back}, and Tweet with the popular #Hashtags that are trending at the moment {which are displayed in a box on the left hand side, third box down, on your Home}.
