Text ads or Banner ads, which one is better?

I want to advertise my business online.
And i decided to advertise either by Text Ads or by Banner Ads.

So which one is better?
Which one gets more reviews?
Which would you prefer to click on?
Which one people would more likely to trust?

Also which of these ad network ads are better:
Google Ads
Facebook Ads
Yahoo Ads
or Chitika Ads

Banner ads have had some resurgence after a period when banner blindness was making text ads more effective, wither for of ad can work, depending on the product.
Google Adwords sponsored search text ads get the best results, but are expensive, depending on the competitiveness of the subject. Identifying "buyer" keywords can make a huge difference, so can optimizing your sales page both for conversion and for Google "quality score", ads are cheaper when the text and subject of the landing page in in sync with the ad copy and the site is not a sales trap.
Facebook is the second most recommended self serve system for new advertisers, the approach is completely different than Google, you demographically target prospects by their member profile information with ads that have to interrupt their social meanderings, it's cheaper and sometimes more effective to have ads to a facebook business page that establishes the relationship but may leave the hard selling to your own site.
Yahoo Ads might get 30% of the Google traffic, are not quite as free of fraud, Chitika is I believe a "2nd tier" ad network with a larger amount of publisher click fraud, etc.
