Facebook apps not displaying in-game 'pop ups' - Firefox on Ubuntu?

Two people are trying to get lives or moves on three different facebook games including candy crush using two different versions of Ubuntu.

I have also tried logging into their facebook on my FF/Ubuntu, disabled ghostery and adblock plus, cleared cookies cache etc, but these pop up screens within a game will still not load. I've noticed a brief loading symbol which then quickly cuts out, can't work out why it's doing it.

Any ideas how I can get these in-game pop ups to work?

uninstall firefox,download & install latest version of firefox,that would fix all issues
