If someone blocked you would that person still show up in your friends' friends lists?
Someone might have blocked me or deleted their account. This was an old friend. I know people who were also friends with him and he didn't show up in their friends lists.

no, if that person blocks you, you wont be able to see that person anywhere on facebook, including your friends' friend lists
