Any tips on selling things on eBay?

I have no luck with selling things on eBay. No matter how hard I try nothing sells! Any tips on how to get things to sell on eBay?

Try to sell on Thursday because then people will see it while they are relaxing on the weekends. Also try to sell items as buy now instead of auction style. People rather buy an item that is available now instead of waiting couple of days for it.

You need to ask yourself some questions.

1. Is what I'm selling in good demand?
2. Is my price reasonable compared to what others are selling it for?
3. Is my shipping reasonable compared to what others are charging?
4. Is my return policy reasonable?
5. Are my photos sharp and clear? (Saying no returns is a joke that won't even make customers smile.)
6. Are my competitors actually selling theirs? (Check completed section in advanced search.)
7. Are the titles eye catching?
8. Is the description clear and well thought out? (Are you making your items desirable?)
