Computer cannot connect to the internet?
Okay so on the seventh of February I used the computer just as I normally do, it's a pink sony VAIO laptop, and it was working fine. For some reason the next day it claimed to be connected to the WiFi, but not connected to the actual internet. I tried connecting to my iPhone 5S's personal hotspot WiFi, but it continued with the same message. I then tried connecting to my WiFi from different devices like my Dad's laptop and some tablets, and all were able to work properly and fully use the internet So I'm guessing the issue has more to do with my actual laptop. I did call my service provider and he came to the same conclusion, although the only solution my actual laptop detects is an issue with the router though it's weird for different Wifi to all have the same problem. I did try disconnecting the router etc just in case but no results. Not to mention how I tried a system restore and that came out with an error too What should I do?

Something would be wrong with the drivers or the antenna inside.
But first , download the WIFI drivers from here .

You need to enter your model number and series in the above link Big Grin Big Grin

I had the same problem with my Vaio, turn it off for a few hours and try again, used to work for me, I had no idea why this happened though and it was a complete pain in the ass, if it doesn't work take it to a computer shop and ask them if they can find the problem, they'll usually fix these sort of problems for next to nothing.
