You could try one of those inventor services, some ave advertised on TV, many are a bit predatory, taking thousands from people to promote products that fail the majority of times, typically an actual invention is marketed after patenting it,I have seen mention that you might be able to go straight to market and retroactively patenting it up to a year later, I believe that requires you cam prove being first on market.

An alternative worth looking at is Quirky.com "crowd sourcing product inception" I saw it profiled on PBS, you submit an idea they develop and market it, if their panel evaluates it as worthwhile in their weekly webcasted meetings. A few people have made big money from their idea
