I could find very few actual auctions.
Is there a site that is still an auction (bid) site?
That you don't pay to place a bid. You pay only when you win the item.

A lot of items that are "buy it now" can still be bid on, and are still bid on.

they have filter on left side menu so you can find auctions instead of fixed-price if you want
