Deleted a shopping account but still receive emails?

I had an account with a shopping site and i only ordered off there once but leaving my details on there made me anxious because even though i had my products at the time i weren't happy with the site and its not that popular so i contacted support to delete my account.

In the email reply they said that they can do it no problem i just had to confirm my email so i did. I deleted this about half a year ago and the other day i had an email off them stating about a sale on or something.

So i'm worried whether they might still have my details or if they just kept my email address because when i signed up i said yes to the newsletter bit.

Please answer because that site is something that i DO NOT still want my details stored and i have unsubscribed from the newsletter and haven't heard anything since.

They might have your email and now that you unsubscribed it should be ok

Just unsubscribe to the email - there should be a link at the bottom somewhere.
