Getting rid of sponsors ADS?

I keep getting 'sponsors' ads in my e-mail..how do I stop this..it is annoying, could contain 'viruses', etc... I am going to cancel my yahoo account and move to something else if it is not stopped.\

Hello Paula.

Yeap this is pretty annoying...

You can try and create filters that will stop annoying emails.

I 've created a filter that when it finds the words "unsubscribe,offer,free,newsletter,etc" in an incoming email , it automatically takes this email to spam....so i won't see it in my inbox.

But you have to be careful of the keywords you chose cause you might loose an important email, been marked as spam.
