why can't i add a google account to my Samsung Android?
everytime i try to add a google account to it to get into the android market or download the facebook app, it says "can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. This could be a temporary problem or you phone may not be provisioned for data services. if it continues, call Customer Care."
no i dont have a data plan, but should i really need one just to add a Google account???
And I'm hooked up to my home internet connection

Idk if your home internet is not working properly or what. I also have a Samsung android & I got the same problem and If I can recall correctly; it didn't work until I connected to my data network. Some actions performed on your phone need a data conection to be done ( I.e. over the air upgradeds) if your wifi is working properly besides when you try to create a Google account then you problay need a data plan to do this.
