could some one please help me under stand blogging, twitter, facebook and my space in a simple way?

i realy am confussed about twittering, myspace face book, blogging.

i looked up the info but i still don't understand them.

Facebook- A social network that originally was geared toward high school/ college students. Gives users a chance to keep up with people through social networks. Can add pictures, give status updates, write notes, etc and see others pics, status updates and notes. Great way to keep up with old friends. Now used by companies.

Myspace-Another social network. Was at one point only open to adults (18+) but now open to tweens with safety settings. Can perform much of the same activities as FaceBook. Used by celebrities.

Blogging/Twittering- Blogging can be continual writing on one subject (a pet or something) or an online journal or a vent (post whats bugging you). Twittering is like blogging only its done in 140 characters or less. Also know as microblogging.

Which you choose depends on what your goal is. Want to share a photo album of vacation/graduation pictures? Facebook or Myspace. Want to write a daily story about the antics of your demon possessed cat Lucy Furr complete with pictures? Blogging.
Want to constantly update people of your every emotion/action? Twitter
