Facebook How to manage clicking like?
On Facebook I don't like when people over post because it fills the news feed with crap. I take a lot of them out of the news feed. However when ever I click like for anything it shows up in the news feed. Lets say a picture of my uncle's kids, when I click like, it pops up in everybody's news feed "So and so likes this" I'm just trying to let my uncle know that I saw the pic and liked it, not show everybody a pic of my nephew they don't know or care about. Anybody know how to fix that?

You can change the settings for people you are friends with. First, change the settings to make them acquaintances, then you'll get fewer postings. Simply hover your cursor over their name and a box will open up - hover your cursor over the smaller box inside that says friends, and then hover over the options for friends till you see acquaintances. Then click on acquaintances. You'll get far less postings after that.

And, the next part is a problem with privacy. They've changed the settings so there's really not much you can do there if you comment or like another's posting. I realized this not too long ago, that nothing you like or comment on is private anymore. That bothers me quite a lot and unfortunately there's nothing you can do to settings to protect that. That's why facebook is now becoming dangerous as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, one last thing, whenever you post anything yourself, you can control what group can see it. In the status box where you post anything, there's a little box with a globe and down arrow just to the left of post. If you click that you will see your options for posting anything and who can see them. You can create custom lists, limit it to friends, or friends but not acquaintances. If you click custom you have more options, so have a look at that.
