I don't feel that I manage my time as effectively as my husband does; he's very organized and efficient. I think organized people tend to be more effective in their jobs and personal lives because they know where to find things, they don't waste time looking for lost objects/documents and they don't procrastinate when it comes to getting things done. Highly efficient people tend to stay busy and follow a regular routine. They often get and go to bed at the same time every day, they work out, walk their dogs, eat at regular times and readily focus on whatever it is that they are trying to accomplish. They're more likely to be neat and undistracted by visual clutter in the homes and workspaces. Modern technology can make people more effective by making it easier for them to stay in touch and locate information. But along with the benefits of computers and cell phones come the distractions of games and social media sites.

I'm always looking for ways to increase my productivity and better manage my time. I've recently began using a time management application and started outlining everything I need to do the next day before I go to sleep.

I've found that it helps to keep track on my tasks throughout the day. It is important to realize that time management should actually help an individual become more efficient in the way time is used.
